Minori Italy

Minori is a town and a comune in the province of Salerno, in the Campania region of south-western Italy. In 1997, as a part of the Amalfi Coast, it was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Anciently among the preferred vacation spots of the imperial Roman aristocracy – as evidenced by the discovery of a patrician villa dating back to the 1st century AD – the town is nowadays a popular tourist destination for its Tyrrhenian waters, natural landscapes as well as tasty pastry products, attracting a significant number of tourists annually. For this same reason, it is known as Città del Gusto (City of Taste), and Eden della Costiera Amalfitana (Eden of the Amalfi Coast) due to its mild and pleasant Mediterranean climate.
